October 2017 Menu Plan

We have had a busy, busy September.  We went camping a couple of times and started school so I am not quite sure where the month got away from me, but it did.  Now here we are in October and I can't believe the time has flown by so fast.  October has always been a party month for us.  Hubby and I both have birthdays in October along with a couple of other family members.  So it tends to be a little busy for us.  This month we are trying to focus on using up some of the supplies from our pantry and finding some room in our deep freeze.  I am also trying to use my cast iron skillet and cast iron dutch oven more so you will see quite a few recipes that use those pans.  Buddy also has some orthodontist work late in the month to prepare for the last steps of his braces so you will notice a week of soup (better known as soft foods) in our meal plan.
