Don't Throw It Away...Yet

I'm back!!!  Okay, you probably never knew I left, but I did.  Our family took a little "Mini Spring Break" and because of it I missed last week's Thrifty Thursday.  I was home by Thursday, but I was running behind on my other posts so something had to go last week and Thrifty Thursday could wait.  So now that I am back and it's Thursday...Let's be Thrifty!!!
So for today's tip I can not take all the credit.  I wish that I could because it is a great tip, but I didn't come up with it on my own, I just started trying it and started saving myself some money.  I have my favorite beauty products that I buy from Perfectly Posh.  I love that the products are natural and they have helped my skin so much.  I also love their hand creme because they don't leave my hands all greasy.  The moisturizer, hand creme, and face masks that I buy aren't terribly expensive, but they are not super cheap either.  They fall in the mid-range price for products.  What helps me justify the cost of the products I use are that a small amount of the products go a long way and I get every last drop that I can...which is where today's Thrifty Thursday comes in.
Many of the Posh products I use come in tubes.  In the past, before I learned today's tip, I would have used what is in the tube and when I couldn't get any more out, I would have bought a new one.  My Posh rep shared once it feels like the tube of product is empty, don't throw it away.  Instead, you cut the end of the tube off.  This allows you to get all the product you can't squeeze out once it feels empty.  Since I started doing this I get at least one more week's worth of hand creme out of their tubes and I use this every day so getting at least one more week is a huge savings to me.  Once I cut the top of the tube off I just store it in a resealable plastic bag.  I get every last drop out and I am not throwing away money by not using every last drop.
I cut the very top off of my containers so I can get every drop out and then I store them in a resealable plastic bag.
Look at all the hand creme I would have missed if I would have just threw this tube away because it "felt" empty.
How do you save money on beauty products?  Do you have any other money saving tips you would like to share?  I would love to hear them.
